Deliveroo has extended its rapid delivery partnership with LloydsPharmacy, with healthcare essentials now available in as little as 30-minutes from 150 stores across the UK.

The extension is the latest in a series of non-grocery tie-ups and sees a further 110 stores being added to the UK roll-out over the coming months.

Customers can already place last-minute orders for home-delivery from 40 LloydsPharmacy stores, with cold and flu relief, over-the-counter painkillers and pregnancy tests the most frequently ordered items.

LloydsPharmacy’s 50 best-selling products have been available for purchase via Deliveroo’s app since the partnership first began as a response to the Covid lockdowns of 2020.

“LloydsPharmacy has provided a vital service throughout the pandemic and ordering from Deliveroo meant people who were self-isolating could have medication delivered to their doors in as little as 30 minutes,” said Deliveroo’s chief business officer Carlo Mocci.

LloydsPharmacy’s chief retail officer Keith Burch added: “Although LloydsPharmacy patients can order online for next day delivery, through our extended partnership with Deliveroo, more patients across the UK can access the care supplies they need in just 30 minutes.

“We’re committed to improving patient care, giving them greater choice and control as to how, where, and when they access care and medicines. The extension of our partnership with Deliveroo plays an important role in that mission.”
