We are looking for a software developer to join our fast-growing team. You will be part of a dynamic team of software and hardware developers creating cutting edge interactive experiences for global brands.
Focussing on front end development, the role will provide you with an opportunity to create innovative software solutions with cutting edge technologies. Continuous learning and up-skilling are essential aspects of working at Evoke. All team members are supported in writing clean code, encouraged to contribute to application architecture discussions and delivering software using agile techniques and continuous integration.
The ideal person for this role is looking for a challenge within a small dynamic team with huge future potential. You will work in a small team of software developers using Agile practices. The successful candidate will be involved in the full development lifecycle and will be responsible for understanding requirements, collaboratively creating solutions and maintaining automated deployment processes.
Innovation is a key aspect of this role and software developers will be expected to explore new technologies and participate in rapid prototyping of new solutions to demonstrate our capabilities to our growing list of clients.
Assistance will also be provided to IT Support to ensure customer issues are resolved promptly.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Liaising with the Software Development Team on all aspects of software delivery.
- Liaising with IT Operations Support to provide issue resolution.
- Liaising with hardware designers on all aspects of hardware integration.
- Ensure solutions are secure, robust and maintainable.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- C# .Net Framework development
- Web API, Entity Framework, .Net Core
- SQL Server
- .Net Core
- JS frameworks such as Vue.js, React.js, Angular.js
- Strong communication skills required
- Flexibility and openness to change
- Willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
The role will primarily be carried out at evoke HQ in Bromborough, Wirral; in addition to which visits to suppliers and customers may be required. Take the evoke HQ tour here.
