How digital kiosks offer a new way to engage and inspire donations

Last Friday marked a special moment for all of us at Evoke Creative, as we proudly handed over a cheque for £3,008 to Wirral Hospice St John’s. It was the culmination of our ‘Miles for Smiles’ charity challenge, held in memory of our much-missed colleague Claire McLaughlin.
Claire’s generosity and spirit left a lasting impact on everyone here, and this initiative felt like the perfect tribute. Claire regularly volunteered at the Hospice, and her passion for the work they do inspired us to give something back.
For every mile walked, cycled or run, whether during lunch, before work or in a spare moment, Evoke donated £1. And to boost the smiles even further, some of our team took to the treadmill and bike in full fancy dress, adding fun to a heartfelt cause.
We were warmly welcomed by Teresa Nightingale and Jo Roberts, who gave us a tour of the Hospice and shared stories of the incredible care and comfort their team provides to patients and families across the Wirral. It was a truly inspiring visit, reminding us why this initiative mattered so much.

We care deeply about the people and causes that matter to our team. 'Miles for Smiles' was our way of remembering Claire and giving back to a place she cared about. It brought the team together in a meaningful way and reminded us of the impact we can have when we support something bigger than ourselves.
To everyone at Evoke who logged a mile, cheered others on, or got involved in any way—thank you. Everyone played a part, and it showed in the energy and commitment across the team.
